Wildlife Watch - Titchfield Park

Mini Wonders

Mansfield Museum are running an 8 week activity club for 2-4 year olds and their grown ups, called Mini Wonders.

 

Fun, interactive and inspiring ways to explore, play and learn, including storytelling, creative activities and spending time together. Free snacks and lunch for everyone, and transport if you need it. 

 

Starting Tuesday 24th February for 8 weeks (except 2 weeks over easter). From 10am until 12noon. 

 

More information will be provided to Nursery families next week, so ask the Nursery team for the paperwork. The Museum team will help you book on and talk it over with you, if you want to know more! 

 

Should be really good to get involved - and do not worry about missing Nursery, as long as we know you are booked on the Mini Wonders, then we are happy for you to go along to the Museum Club!

  • Sherwood Forest Day 2026 Look out for any activities in half term linked to Sherwood Forest Day. To celebrate and promote Sherwood Forest as a national environmental, cultural and historic asset. To thank those who are preserving it and work together to secure its future.
  • Rebel Rangers in Half term. Dear Parents and Carers, Looking for something fun to do with the kids during February half term, weekends and the Easter holidays, with the chance to win an amazing family prize?   • Festival of Science and Curiosity The festival is about inviting the people of Nottinghamshire to share not only what they know, but also what they would like to know; it’s about celebrating curiosity, asking questions and taking a leading role in finding out the answers.
  • Mansfield Palace Theatre Over Feb half term there are lots of things happening at Mansfield Palace Theatre for children. Take a look at the link for more information.
  • Winter Mini Challenge - Reading for Pleasure The Winter Mini Challenge is back for 2025! This online challenge invites children aged 4 - 11 to read three books or more, between 1 December and 20 February, to earn digital rewards. Show Mrs Austin or Mrs B your certificate to be in with the chance of a small prize for being a superstar reader!
  • Magical Mission for young children Step into the legendary world of the Magical Major Oak and join Marian as the forest is transformed into a snowy playground. Must book - cost £2/child.
