  • Royal Society Judging Panel

Tue 20 Dec 2022 Corinna Brown

Twelve children were invited to make up a panel to read and discuss 6 science books, that were sent to us by The Royal Society.

The children have spent the past few weeks reading all the books and they came together on Monday to decide on the best. We have sent our results off to the Royal Society and are pictured holding our results poster. Well done to all of the children for being part of the Panel and for giving their opinions - some great debating skills and negotiations were heard!

  • Take your spare clothes to the clothing bank at The Reindeer pub.

Fri 24 Jun 2022 Corinna Brown

The Reindeer is collecting clothes and shoes to raise money for our school to be able to buy books. There is a large gray clothing bin, at the back door/car park where you can drop off any items.

Please help out by donating any clothes or shoes that you no longer need. This means there will be less waste in our bins, as well as raising money for school.

Thank you to Hayley, the new manager, who is running lots of fundraising events and initiatives to help raise money for school.

The more votes we get, the more money we receive! If we win first place we will get £1,500!! The voting box is just by the main doors, near the cash points. Ask your Tesco cashier if you are not offered a token and they have a tub near the self service tills too.
