Day 1
Day 1
After a busy day at school, we set off on the bus in high spirits. The parents waving us off also seemed rather happy too. An hour later, we arrived and unloaded the bus before settling into our rooms. We were greeted by a special, cuddly friend on our beds along with a toothbrush and toothpaste.
Before dinner, we played on the park that is attached to the centre and explored our surroundings a little further. Dinner was a delicious roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings. The children were excellent at meal time and really put our manners project work on display.
After dinner, we set off for a walk through Hucklow village and into the surrounding woodland. It wasn't a long walk but we did have to navigate a few steep hills. When back at the centre we did an important task (keep your eyes on the post in the next couple of days) before chilling and playing a few games.
We're all really excited for the next few days.
