DAY1
Day 1 - Monday 2nd June 2025
We waved goodbye to School and our grown ups and after about 4 hours we arrived in sunny Keswick. The journey was good and we stopped for a break at Scotch Corner. When we arrived at Keswick we had to unpack the coach and we then headed to Fitzpark for our lunch and to spend some time in the park.
We then went on our first walk through Keswick, past some boats on Derwentwater and enjoyed some beautiful scenery from Friar's Cragg. We heard and saw some fighter jets on the way and tried skimming stones across the water before heading home though a field of sheep and their lambs.
When we got back to the centre we unpacked, ate our tea (chicken nuggets, chips and peas/sweetcorn). Keep your eyes on the post over the next few days as something may be arriving through your letter box.
We are all looking forward to our big walk tomorrow.
