DAY5

Day 5 - Friday 6th June 2025

Everyone got up early after a good nights sleep.  There were lots of things to do before the coach arrived.  We had to get washed, dressed, make our sandwiches, have breakfast, pack, ensure our rooms and the rest of the accommodation was tidy and that  there was nothing left behind.

The children were great at doing all of these jobs, their sandwich making skills have really come on over the week and their ability to keep their rooms tidy, knowing that a room inspection could happen at any time, made it easier for them to pack (Well that was the case for most of them!).

When the coach arrived the children all helped to take the bags to the vehicle so as everything could be loaded.  Then it was time to say goodbye to Keswick, the sun was shining as we left.  The coach was very quiet with many of the children falling asleep.

We stopped at Scotch Corner on the way home to have our lunch where everyone enjoyed the sandwiches that they had made.  As we got back on the coach a lot of the children liked to have a look out of the window at the orange Mustang car that was parked beside us.

Our coach driver Luke was really friendly and was happy to have his photo taken before we set off.  During the journey we took a few photos of the scenery.  As we got closer to home our coach driver became DJ Luke and played some requests with Baby Shark, Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes and The wheels on the bus being the most favourite, with actions of course.  Mr Harding even got up to demonstrate the Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes actions.

We arrived back at school and everyone was glad to see their grown ups and keen to tell them about their great week at Keswick.
