DAY 2 - Tuesday 03/06/2025
Our day started with breakfast and making our sandwiches for our packed lunches. The forecast was sunshine and showers and we had a light shower when we were on open top bus to Seatoller, but it didn't stop us sitting on the top deck and ducking below the low hanging branches. We then climbed up a path that was like a river, crossed a number of rivers and stopped for lunch where there was a beautiful view. The walk back down was a path made up of stones which was quite challenging, everyone was happy to get their ice cream when we arrived at the cafe.
Upon arrival at base everyone enjoyed a warm shower and a drink. We then had pizza, jacket potato and salad for tea followed by ice cream and jelly.
After tea we went to the park where the children played football and went on the zip line, swings etc. A few children stayed at base to play board games with Mrs Harding and Miss Asquith.
When we returned everyone was quick to get ready for bed, enjoy their hot chocolate and biscuit and then it was time to bed. Everyone went fast asleep very quickly.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
