Day 4
Yet again we had to wake the children otherwise they would have missed breakfast! Everyone was very happy to tuck into cereals, toast and a full cooked breakfast. It was a special day for one of the group as it was Cameran's 8th birthday - he was very pleased with the cards, presents and cake - complete with candles.
Once rooms were tidy (and we have had a few 10 out of 10 for room inspections!) we set off by coach to Crich. We had great fun riding on the trams which were all older than even the teachers - amazing! We had our lunch and then walked through the woods where we saw some very interesting sculptures, Then came what we were all waiting for, the chance to spend our money. We visited the gift shop and the sweet shop buying a variety of gifts and sweets, hopefully they will all make it home.
Back at the centre we had some birthday cake and played on the playground before tea, After tea it was party time...musical chairs, musical statues, the chocolate game, corners and some great 'would you rather?'
After hot chocolate time we headed to bed - this week has gone so quickly and we will be packing in the morning. We will be visiting Castleton and The Peak Cavern on our way home. See you tomorrow!
