Harvest Festival Donation
Well our Harvest Festival went very well yesterday! Mr Darrington from a local Methodist Church delivered the assembly. He was supported by many children, who read out poems written by other children, some showed the pictures they had drawn and lots of singing took place.
We had an amazing response from the school community, with lots of food and toiletry items donated. All of this donation is being collected by the Sherwood Forest Food Bank on Monday morning to provide welcome food packages over the next few months to families and people who are in need.
The Food Bank have already had a donation dropped off in the school's name, so who ever that was - thank you!
A few School Parliament members helped to pack up the food, ready to be collected on Monday. Team work, all around!
