Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Our Collaboration Concert was a great success with Asquith Choir, Band and Dancers all performing their socks off.
We also sang with Wynndale and Berry Hill Primary School choirs to make up our big Collaboration Choir.
What a great night. Many parents came to support us and had a lovely evenings entertainment.
We thank all the organisations that supported us, especially Blue Spark Foundation who gave us a grant, so we could hire the Theatre, use buses to transport the children and buy a snack.
See you again next year, hopefully!
Well, what a good time we all had!
The rain held off, with plenty of different stalls to try. Plants to buy, tombola, Hapa Zome bookmarks to make, biscuits to decorate, games to play, photos of staff as babies, face painting, jelly beans guessing, book fair, refreshments AND CAKES!
If you missed it you missed a treat. Thank you to all the staff who stayed behind to run the stalls and to any parents who contributed a prize.
Not much lost property was collected, so if you are missing coats, jumpers or any other uniform then its all in KS2 building. Next week it will be sorted by ECO Group and either disposed of or given to a charity shop. There is a lot!
Check out our Art Clubs silk paintings when you next go to Mansfield. They are on display in Mansfield Building Society. Thank you to MBS for letting us display the great pieces of art work in their window.
Nine children went to Sherwood Pines on Tuesday to take part in the Forest School Games. We climbed a climbing wall and did pond dipping. A great time was had by all, including the staff who went with the children. We played stuck in the mud, played with sports equipment and then went on the mushroom playground. Some children found the climbing wall a challenge but everyone had a go, and the perseverance some children showed to try again was awesome! Mr Hill and Mrs B were so proud. We all learnt a great deal about pond creatures!
