DAY 3
A fun-filled day in Hathersage today. Started off the day with cereal, scrambled eggs, toast, and baked beans. Before our morning activities, Mrs. Graham joined us to finish off the week! We then headed over to Brookfield Manor to go ‘minibeasting’ and stream searching - lots of crayfish and bullheads found by the children! (Even Mr. J had a paddle!)
We had lunch back at St. Michael’s, when we said goodbye to Ms. Cooling - a massive thank you for all her help!! In the afternoon, we headed up to the grave of Little John, learning some of the history and preparing little performances about Robin Hood and his merry men.
We had some downtime before a dinner of lasagna, salad, and garlic bread, with a pudding of syrup sponge and custard. We then headed to a local shop for goodies and spent the rest of the evening on the park. We finished off the day as usual, with hot chocolate and biscuits before bed.
