DAY 4

An increasingly hot day, but we managed to find plenty of shade and made sure we had our water bottles filled to the brim. We started the day off with a breakfast of cereal, sausages, potato waffles, beans, and toast. After following the routine of getting ready, we set off to Mill Pond - a change to the original walk up to Stanage Edge. At the pond, we stopped for lunch and made some friendship bracelets. We then continued on and learnt how to build a drystone wall! The penultimate stretch led us to Thorpe Farm, where we chose an ice cream - they were massive scoops! After we returned to St. Michael’s (passing some very cute calves), we started packing (not necessarily the right clothes) and had a dinner of pizza, wedges and beans followed by chocolate sponge and custard. The evening was filled with games and karaoke, before the usual drink and biscuit before bed.
