  • Tesco In Store Voting - to help win a bigger cash prize!

Thu 13 Jan 2022 Corinna Brown

By shopping at Oak Tree Tesco and dropping one of their blue tokens in to the Community Voting box for Asquith Primary School, you could help school to win a bigger money prize for outdoor learning and Forest School resources!

The more votes we get, the more money we receive! If we win first place we will get £1,500!! The voting box is just by the main doors, near the cash points. Ask your Tesco cashier if you are not offered a token and they have a tub near the self service tills too.

The in store voting is also taking place in other Tesco stores in the local area, such as Sutton, Kirkby and Hucknall and will keep running until 31st March, so lots of time to support school.

These are all the stores where you can vote for Asquith Primary School.

Sutton In Ashfld Express, NG17 5TN.

Wed 15 Dec 2021 Corinna Brown

Today five children from class 5/6 G, representing the ECO Group and School Council, delivered presents to the residents of the Care Home and goodies for the staff teams.

They also hung star and Gods Eye decorations in the trees in the garden of the care home, plus bird feeders, all made by the ECO Group in their last few sessions.

The children were a credit to the school and were thanked by the residents and staff from the care home - we said 'Merry Christmas' through the open door!!
