Thank you to everyone who supported the Children in Need collection at Asquith Primary School, by paying £1 to wear their own clothes, buying a cake or entering the colouring competition.  The school raised an amazing £563.00.  £281.50 will be sent to Children in Need and £281.50 will be added to the Asquith Primary School Fund to help pay for extracurricular activities for our pupils.

Children and staff paid to come into school in their own choice of clothes on Friday 15th November, cakes were sold and there was a colouring competition (The winners are pictured below), all to raise funds for Children In Need and the School Fund.

This is a reminder that school will be closed to Pupils on Friday 22/11/2019 as it is a staff INSET day.

 

The Inset day in February (24/2/20) has now been changed and school will now be closed to pupils on Monday 9th March 2020 and open on Monday 24th February 2020 to staff and pupils.

Polling Day -  Asquith Primary School will be closed to staff on pupils on Thursday 12th December 2019

Asquith Primary Schools Breakfast Club was shortlisted for the best breakfast club in the East Midlands.  Yesterday the scores were totalled revealing the winner from each region, and Asquith Primary School has won the best breakfast club awards in the East Midlands.

 

Well Done to the staff and pupils involved!

 

 

Thank you to everyone who supported Asquith Primary School's MacMillan Coffee afternoon on Friday 27th September.  We raised an amazing £271.35.

Each of the pupils are so happy that they have found a book, they can't wait to read them and hide them again!

Please encourage your children to take part in 'Asquith look for a book' - Books will be hidden in and around the school grounds.  Inside the book will be instructions to follow.

 

When your child has read the book, please  then hide it again within the school grounds or keep it and hide one of your own.

Parents please send a photo of your child with the book so as we can post it on our school website.

 

We would be grateful for children's book donations so as we can add them to our collection.
